Still going in the same direction, I decided to keep going with movement as you may have seen with the previous paintings/prints.
He has movement, falling through the sky. There’s much detail to him. The simplicity and beauty of the Navajo culture is shown, much about him is accurate and what we see in our culture.
YeiBiCheii’s only come out in the winter time. Here I am painting the Talking God YeiBiCheii bringing the winter (amongst the stars) with the change and movement of color. The motion and friction of warm and cold air is happening. Talking God, the leader of the group donning 12 feathers while throwing a blessing your way. He’s actually throwing corn pollen.
