Hi, My name is Kyle N Yazzie…
& I started painting when I was 11 years old.
I am interested in all cultures of the world but I remain focused on expressing my Dine’ culture through art and color.
A wise elder once told me…”Father sky chooses for you what colors you should see and what colors to paint with. All colors are created by him through the light he carries. The colors of the rainbow and more can be seen on our homeland, within the four sacred mountains. If you ever need inspiration, come home.”
Much of my artwork is images or memories of what I see on the Dine Nation, in old black & white photos or from stories that family share with me.
Thank you for visiting my site. Axheehee.
“Kyle, a young emerging artist
has developed a keen artistic eye and appreciation for color & form. Kyle continues to expand his artistic boundaries with a colorful and distinct style.” -Daniel Kasza
